The tradition of serving others in the church is rooted in Matthew 25, which instructs us to give food to the hungry, to give water to the thirsty, to give clothing to the naked, to welcome the stranger, and to visit those who are sick or in prison. We work to clothe, shelter, feed, heal, educate, and live in solidarity with those who suffer under oppression, injustice, violence, poverty, hunger, and disease. If you are looking for a church where you can roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty serving those in need, we would love for you to call our church your home.

Life in the church is not a spectator sport. God has blessed his people with different skills, talents, and abilities - what we in the church call "gifts and graces." These gifts enrich our life together and enhance our ministry. If you are looking for a church in which you can be involved, we would love for you to call our church your home.
